You can buy the breakfast buffet every day, served at Tønderhallerne from 07:30–10:00.

Must be ordered in person at the reception at Tønderhallerne during opening hours

or at www.toenderbyferie.dk. When ordering via the website, the latest you can order is 21:00 the day before.

The daily special is served Monday–Thursday at Tønderhallerne, and if you want it as takeaway, the food must be picked up no later than

8:00 PM. Price: DKK 89 per dish. Must be ordered no later than 7:30 PM.

You can also buy other catering options daily at the café in Tønderhallerne.

Here you can buy ice cream, café food, and various drinks, etc.

We can also arrange other meals, a coffee table, lunch, etc., if you are a group and have pre-ordered.

We offer great free parking right outside the entrance – including for buses

We don’t have charging stations in our parking lot. But within 500 m there’s a charging station at Sønderlandevej 8, and within 650 m there’s a charging station at Sønderlandevej 4. There are also several more charging stations in Tønder.

Using bed linen is mandatory at Tønder Byferie. You can bring your own or rent it from Tønder Byferie.

A linen pack with a large towel costs DKK 95 per set. Bed-making costs DKK 50 per set. Both require pre-booking.

We have wireless internet throughout the Danhostel area and outside on the camping and motorhome site.

You’ll find the reception at Tønderhallerne, right next door to Tønder Byferie.

Opening hours are 08:00–15:00 on weekdays and 08:00–12:00 on weekends and public holidays.

Outside these hours, you can get in touch with a member of staff from Tønderhallerne

(if necessary) by phone. +45 7472 2826.

You can rent a baby bed. This costs DKK 25/day.

Must be ordered when booking.

In our new guest kitchen, you can prepare various meals yourself and enjoy them in the dining hall.

The guest kitchen and dining hall can be used by all our guests (except groups).

Groups can rent rooms for various purposes. Contact reception.

We ask all our guests to be considerate of other guests—especially those who are sleeping, and when returning late.

Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. However, we ask that you keep noise down in the corridors at all times.

Smoking indoors is not allowed at all. All smoking must take place outdoors. If you break this rule, you will be charged a fee of DKK 1,000.

There is generally good access at Danhostel Tønder Byferie. You can also rent 2 accessible rooms.

Pets are welcome in our camping cabins and the apartment. The same applies to selected rooms at Danhostel. Always subject to a cleaning surcharge of DKK 150.

If you wish to bring a pet (max. 1), this must always be reserved in advance.

We kindly ask that you take care of the rented unit and its furnishings. If the pet causes damage, the guest will be held responsible.

We also kindly ask that pets are not left alone in the cabin, apartment, or room for extended periods.

If a pet is brought into a pet-free room, a cleaning fee of DKK 1,000 will be charged.

From Tønder Station to our address it’s about 1.2 km on foot. Takes about 16 minutes.

With advance booking:

All rooms at Danhostel and the hotel have electronic code locks on the doors.

If you have booked and paid for your stay in advance, you will receive the door code by email the day before.

If you’re walking in:

If you arrive outside opening hours and want to book a room, that’s also possible.

The outer door is always open, and inside you’ll find a notice with a QR code that links to www.toenderbyferie.dk where you can book your stay.

Once you have registered and paid for your stay, you will receive a code for the door to an available room.

Of course, it isn’t possible to book a room if everything is fully booked.

You can also rent a linen set if you haven’t brought your own.

Just slightly to the left, opposite the entrance door to Danhostel by the coffee machine, there is a room where you can pick up a linen set with a towel using your room door code.

Please settle payment for this at reception the following morning.

With advance booking:

If you have booked and paid for your stay in advance, you will receive a booking number by email the day before arrival.

When you arrive at Tønder Byferie, drive up to the self-service machine (Check In Terminal), which you will find on your right-hand side just before you pass Danhostel and before the entrance to your pitch.

At the self-service machine, follow the instructions on the screen.

First you check in, after which you will be given a 6-digit PIN code on a slip from the machine, which you must remember to take with you. You will need this PIN code, among other things, to open the barrier.

If you want to use electricity or fill up with water, you must then order this at the machine using the PIN code you were given. You can also purchase other add-ons here.

You must then pay a deposit of at least DKK 60 using your credit card at the machine.

Once you are at your pitch and want to use electricity, use your PIN code at an available power point by your pitch.

You can also top up your electricity during your stay with us.

The power point always reserves an amount of DKK 12 per use.

You will also receive an SMS when your balance is below DKK 24.

Any remaining balance will be refunded at check-out.

You can also buy water on site at the filling stations, where you can also dispose of your wastewater.

If you have not booked a pitch in advance, drive up to the self-service machine (Check In Terminal), which you will find on your right-hand side just before you pass Danhostel and before the entrance to the site.

Follow the instructions on the screen. The first thing you do is choose an available pitch on the campervan site.

Then follow the same procedure as described above.

With advance booking:

When you arrive at Tønder Byferie, drive up to the self-service machine (Check-in Terminal), which you will find on your right-hand side, just before you pass Danhostel and before the entrance to your pitch.

At the self-service machine, follow the instructions on the screen.

First you check in, after which you will be given a 6-digit PIN code on a slip from the machine, which you must remember to take with you. You will, among other things, need this PIN code to open the barrier gate.

Here you can also purchase add-ons, for example.

On the exterior door of your cabin or apartment, there is an electronic code lock. The day before, you will have received the code by email, which you need to use to open the door.

If you arrive without a booking:

If you have not booked a pitch in advance, drive up to the self-service machine (Check-in Terminal), which you will find on your right-hand side, just before you pass Danhostel and before the entrance to the site.

Follow the instructions on the screen. The first thing you do is select an available cabin or apartment.

After that, follow the same procedure as described above.

You must always drive past the Check In Terminal and check out there, otherwise you risk losing any remaining balance on your prepayments.

Select “departure” on the machine and follow the instructions.

When renting rooms at Danhostel and the hotel, you can add cancellation protection when you book your stay.
